Why do I wear braces?

I always wonder, why Hollywood artist have a very white and nice teeth. Even so, most American are like that; as for example, if you take a look at all the contestant from the reality show; you will notice that all of them have a very organize teeth. I am jealous of that. Since I am kid, I was frequently having a big problem with my teeth. There are once that the dentist and the nurse doing a yearly visit to my primary school for a dental check up. And ofcourse every kids are afraid to do The Scaling (removal of calculus from the teeth) because it is a bit painful. And so when it's time for my turn I was afraid but calm. Hehe. Then the dental nurse inspect my teeth, and would you like to know what did she said to me? It goes like this " Apa ni name je pengawas, tapi gigi awak dah macam reban ayam". (I paraphrase) I was like huh? blurred? and What?. "Tahu ah aku still budak agi, hingus pun meleleh jer"; but still this is unacceptable. Bless that nurse. I hope she now know how to use appropiate words towards other. Although I am only about 10 years old during that time, but I still remembers about it. But did I quickly go for an appointment to wear braces? The answer is NO! Why is that? Well, first I don't about its existence and second is I don't have enough money.

So,I only started to wear braces after completing form 5. Which is to be precise 2 weeks after SPM. Before that, I just had to endure with it. You know life as a high-school students is cruel. Okay and so, Why do I need braces really badly?

1) Enough is enough; I know that I don't have a nice teeth and smile. So stop complaining about it.
2) Sometimes, I notice that my teeth are prone to have cavity and producing unpleasant mouth-breath.
3)Ofcourse, I am ashame to smile, also always covering my mouth whenever I want to laugh, and thus, I'm a loser aaand having a feeling of low self-esteem back then.

Alright, so I wear braces for 2 years from the year 2006 until 2008. How is the ongoing process? Before that, let me set the record straigh; it is true that wearing braces need a lot of patience and endurance. Because... Read the step:
1) You will need to do The Scaling(cuci gigi) and to make sure that you are free from bleeding gums (gusi). And to do the scaling is pain number 1.
2) Ofcourse you will need to schedule for an appointment witth the orthodontist (a specialist who treat and do the correction of abnormal dento-facial strctures).
3) You will have a consultation from the orthodontist and do the jaws x-rays.
4) The doctor will review your x-ray and will tell you about your teeth and how many teeth that you will need to extract (cabut gigi). In this case, I basically had to extract 4 of my tooth. And that is pain number 2. To describe to you about the process of extracting my teeth is so unexplainable.
5) Now, only then, they will completly instill or apply the complete set of braces on my teeth and that is pain number 3. So every month, you will need to do the regular check up until your teeth is fully organize.

At the end of the day; all of the pain was worth it. Now, I am no longer embarass to smile. :) Smile makes the world go round! And I loves to do it. Hehe

My Guilty Pleasure

I wonder how many times does people change their handphone? It is 2 times or 10 times. I had heard people that had change hp that much. I wonder? Is it something wrong with their hp or them..hehe...For me, so far i had change my handphone 4 times i think. Emm, wait a minute i think maybe i did had used 5 handphone so far.Which is okay lah tu. I'm still 20 years old; i got a lot of time to buy new and sophisticated hp. but still if i got the money. Anyway No Money, NO Talk. So coming back; I started to use handphone when i was in form 1, which i had to share it with my sister. At that time nokia 3310 was very popular and got a lot of attention. I can't remember how much it is, maybe around RM700*. Now, maybe it can cost you only RM90. Haha. So what i like about this handphone is that, this hp is really hard-core. You can throw it to the ground, fall it accidentally but still this hp is magically still will function well. Not like nowadays hp. The more multi-function it has, the more fragile it will be. Another things that i like about Nokia 3310 is that, i love to play their games. One of it is the snake game. Also i can't stand the monophonic tone, it is so lame, if you still use it now..

After that, when i am in form 2; my father brought me a new hp just for me. Yippee. And of course i only get the monophonic phone although polyphonic hp are starting to raise like mushroom during that time the year 2002. So finally my own hp Nokia 3315. It is a bit different from 3310. What are the differents?. Actually not much. Only the keypad is fusing in between. So having this hp of course make me wanted to start smsing and calling everybody i know. Moreover i loves to change the hp housing and much of my credits are running out because of purchasing the logo and ring tones. What a waste. Luckily today i am not like that.Whatever it is i really appreciate my first hp and it is still functioning until now. It just that, i don't use it anymore so i give it to my auntie.

Moving on, introducing my third hp. Which is Motorola C310!Not really popular though. But it is my first hp which have polyphonic ring tones and the colored-screen. Also i can't remember how much it cost me. Maybe around RM700* also. But actually it was a present from my sister. So what i like about this hp is that i can easily hide my hp whenever i bring it to school. Because during that time hp are strictly not allow. Well we as a 'creative' students always know the ways. There are ones that i hide my hp in the class dust bin during class spot check. Luckily i didn't forget to get it back afterward. Well those crazy days are just unforgettable.
Well there are more story to tell about that. But let keep it for now..

So after that i used motorola L7 which had camera and mp3. I started to use in when i am still in matriculation. During that time everybody want to use a hp that have multi function, such as taking picture with it. So i just go with the flow. And of course my dad don't want to buy me a new phone because i've already did got one. So i had to find another alternative. You know what every matriculation students will get RM1000 per semester. So what, i think i will use it for that. hehe.."rase bersalah pun ader gak" but it's okay living in matriculation is not expensive. So L7 for me, Yeah. And it cost me RM700 also..What do i do with it? Of course keep on downloading a new mp3 songs, taking picture, and have a true ring tones which is a real music and songs.

After 2 years of using motorola L7 i started to switch side to Sony Ericsson. My first 3G hp Wi910. Well it's everything that i ever desire for. For now. I can't ask for more. And ofcourse to buy this hp i had to use my own money. So what to do i am still a students and my dad is really a person that don't simply spend his money for inappropriate things. Again i had to use my Yayasan money. Haha. What can i do, i simply just can't resist my self. The temptation is so high and cruel. And now people start to use N Series or Navigator. My sister also just brought a new hp which is Nokia express music the model is "ape tah"..aaah. I am confused with it. So now, Should I buy a new handphone again?. NO WAY. For now i just be thankful with what i had and appreciate it. So What about you guys????

The Reality Tv Show

5) America's Next Top Model
Okay you have to admit it. I am a girl what do you expect of course I like to watch pretty women walking on a run away with perfect body and clothes. However, life as a model i guess is pretty harsh but once you succeed in it you will be a millionaires. What i like about this show is because they are all 'fierce' and so determine to be an extraordinary model. I like the flow of this series from the audition to the makeover and then to the judging process. What can i say it is a complete recipes for a reality show.

4) American Idol
Who don't like American Idol? I guess a lot of people are watching it and loves it. When most people like to watch their favourite contestant keep on improving from week to week, well not for me. I prefer to return to the basic. Which is you know what 'the audition session'. Some people are really into it. They even allow themselves to go for an audition even though they already know that they don't have singing talent. Being a singer is hard and life in a entertainment business is cruel. There are no guarantee. Sometimes you are up, and sometimes you are down. Well i don't want to choose that kinda life. And of course i like to see the judges reaction and their critiques during the audition session.

3) Keeping Up With The Kardasians
You can watch this show on Astro channel 712 E!Entertainment Channel. What i loves about this reality show is that i don't really know. I just like to watch others people life. And the Kardasian's sister always got something going on through out their week. From the quarrel between siblings to the family problems. Well you have to watch it to know more about it.

2) The Apprentice
I bet many of you already known about this reality show. "There is nothing personal it's just business". Basically this show taught us to learn teamwork, to be confident, to know how to grap opportunity, and to raise up even higher when you fall down. Ofcoure i am not really interested in doing business, i just like to go with the flow of the show. The climax of the show is of course the elimination session. That is when you see the true color of some. You can't trust anybody completely. At the end of the day you only have you. or you are "fired" (banging the meeting table with showing a gun sign). Hehe

1) The Biggest Loser
Yeah, this is my favourite reality show of all time. Right now it just finishing the session 7 and finally a women contestant did won. And you know what the Biggest Loser Asia is coming soon. So stick around for more news. Well why do I like this show? Actually it is not just about you put in a bunch of a fat people in a house and train them to lose weight. It is more about their determination and wanting to change their life for the better. "What have you done today, to make you feel proud";"It's never too late to change". That is what their theme songs saying about. Moreover Biggest Loser also did give me a little advice on how to eat healthily and learn a few benefits of exercise. You will be surprised by the end of the show most of them will become way much slimmer. "Ni yang buat aku rase tercabar ni".

So there you have it. The top 5 reality show that i like for now..

I Had Donated My Blood

To be honest, this is my third time on donating blood. I still remember my first time is when I was in matriculation on 2006; lots of memory back then. I may not need to tell you guys any further about that, hehe. Coming back; why do I donate my blood? Well I am not sure at first, maybe it is because of peer influence, I guess. But most of all, it is because I am glad to donate blood, simply because I know that with my blood I may have save others people life. What more can I say; "Tangan yang memberi lebih baik dari tangan yang menerima". So start thinking about those in need more seriously rather than yourselves. Hehe.

I know for some, they might give so much excuses. Some would say that they are afraid of needle and some are wandering about is it consider safe? Well there are lot of things that are serious than that. Might be! But from my opinion there must be another more great pain than donating blood. Such as toothache. Ouch, that's really hurt. I can't endure it. Okay, enough about that, it's getting cliche right now and I am sound like really "poyo".

So on 19 August 2009, the blood bank people came to my university basically to invite the students to join the blood donation campaign. So without further due, I just grab the opportunity to donate blood. Would you like to know more about the process. Okay this is so interesting; first of all is that you must be prepared mentally and physically. How is that? What I mean by mentally is that you need to get ready with your mind set by motivating yourself. As for example you could put it this way " this is fun and I am not afraid". And what I mean physically is that; you must be sure that you are healthy today, your weight is more than 45kg, and ofcourse you must not have any infectious disease such as AIDS/HIV and so on. If you have pass all the check list, then you may proceed with the second step. Which is to proceed to the registration counter and fill in the form.

Usually at the registration counter they will ask to you about; have you taken your lunch?, do you had enough sleep? and Is this your first time? So on so forth. Then it is time for you to weigh in to make sure you are really more than 45kg. But ofcourse if you are pretty sure that you are more than that; then there is no need for that clarification. You know for some like me might be really sensitive with their weight.Hehe. Thirdly; is to check your blood, so that they will know what blood group are you in? and also your Hemoglobin? And so on. Just allow them to do their work. So How do they do it? I mean to check your blood. Normally a small prick will be apply to one of your finger. "Pendek kata kene cucuk sikit ah". So with a few drops of your blood they will mix it with some kind of solution. Then you will know what is your blood group whether it is A, B, AB or even O.

Fourthly, is to proceed to the next step, which is to measure your blood pressure and also a few easy-peasy question will be asked by the doctor. Finally you are now ready to donate your blood with the permission from the doctor.

Now it is time for you to sit on the 'grand' chair. Before that I will prefer to ask the staff nurse to take my blood on my left side. Because I use my right hand the most so it will give me a hard time if I do it on the right side. To continue; the nurse will start to inject a few amount of anaesthetic "bius" near your vein "salur darah" before injecting the big needle for the blood taking process. Next, when the blood start to flow you will need to wait until the blood has fill up the blood bag. Which is usually about 20minutes*. After that, the nurse will take the needle out from you and you will wait for a while before you get up.

Next is you will be served with some foods and drinks. Usually you will be given milo and bread and make sure that you finish eating it. Also you will be given some supplement which is B Complex and Vitamin C to help boost back your blood. Finally you will receive a recognition or a certificate from them to show you some love and appreciation.

So now I would like to share with you some experience that I had been through after the blood donation. Not really serious though, but it does makes me to be more careful. But don't get me wrong I still always want to donate blood.

The story goes like this, it is normally for the donaters to feel a little "lenguh-lenguh" at the hand of the blood donating side. But I had experience a bit big brusing after a few days. This happen when I was donating for the first time. I don't know why does it happen. But I ask my lecturer and she say there is nothing to worry about that, just maybe my small vein had ruptured a bit due to the wrong technique. So what should I do? Simply just apply some ice on it for about 10 minutes* twice daily and it will be just fine.

Also this just happen recently, a really bad experience for me. If you like to know that uitm have this stairs that almost similar like the Batu Cave. Almost 218* all of it together I think. The stairs will link our hostel with the faculty.

The story goes like this; actually the blood donation site is at the faculty, and ofcourse after finishing the donation process and after having enough rest, I think, it is time for my friends and I to go back to the hostel. Where is it? Yes you guess it correctly, ofcourse up up and a way. On the top of the hill. And my luck is 'so great' there is no bus provided and I don't have any car. So what to do? "belasah naik tangga je lah". On my half way climbing the stairs I think about hundered something I started to feel something wrong with me. My heart was pounding very quickly and I started to feel dizzy and shortness of breath. Immediately I stop from taking another step any try do breath slowly. What do I should do? There is nobody here except my friends? Here is what I've done. First is to start cough vigorously so that your heart will be more stable. Second is to sit or lie down and prop up your leg so that the blood in your body will flow more smoothly. (Remember i did this at the stairways and for sure to find a flat area). Third is to lossen your clothes a bit. Actually during that time i was sweating profusely so my friends start to 'kipas' me with papers. Fourth is to drink sugary drink, luckily i had one; and also to eat some candy or chocholate. Five is basically to rest for a while. According to my friends i looks so pale and they are really worried about me. I am so greatful to have Pija and Lia with me; without them I don't know what will happen. So after a while I started to feel okay aand normal again. Luckily nothing happen to me. But this is not a very nice experience for me. Just one thing, I hope next time they will provide busses for the blood donaters to go back to their hostel. If not; just do the blood donation site near the students hostel.

Okay so there you have it a little bit story and experience from me. It just nice to share it with you guys. Anyway "Sharing is Caring" am i right? I hope you are not afraid or anything after hearing this. Just one things that i would like to advice be relaxed and enjoy. ok bye bye for now.

Who is Anne Frank?

Have you guys ever heard 'The Story of a young Girl" by Anne Frank.Anyone? Actually she is just an ordinary girl who enjoyed reading and writing. Anne Frank is best-known as a victim of the Jewish genocide (The Holocaust), which was ordered by Germany's Adolf Hitler during World War 2. Actually she did give me an inspiration because at such an early age, she could express herself to the fullest through her writing in a diary. She is the true aspiring writer. Her words was very touching and make me want to think more seriously about my surrounding. And that is why i am very motivated to write anything that i can ever think of. So the story goes like this:

Anne diary is a commentaries on war and its impact on human being. Anne Frank was born on 12 June 1929 in Frankfurt Germany. Sadly to say she died because of typhus in March 1945 at the age of 16 years old. Briefly; in May 1940 the Germans invade the Netherlands, and immediately making the life as a Jews difficult. After that, in July 1942, the frank family received a notice to report and check in themselves to a Jewish work camp. To avoid from going there, the family decide to hide. They spent two years hiding from the Nazis in a small set of rooms in Amsterdam, protected by non-Jewish friends. Later on they were join by other family "the van Pels family" and Fritz Pfeffer, a dentist.

So the story goes on when Anne recorded the most intimate details of her daily life during her two year stay in the secret Annexe(the place where they stay). She also did mention a lot of her fear of being discovered almost everyday. Anne wrote almost daily in her diary until her last diary entry on 1 August 1944. Three days later on 4 August 1944, all of the Franks family, the Van Pels family, and Mr Pfeffer were discovered and arrested by the Gestapo(German secret police). They were then sent to the concentration camps. Alas, all members of the Secret Annex died in the camps; mostly it is because of starvation and communicable diseases. Only Anne dad's Otto Frank able to survive. When Otto Frank returned to Amsterdam, he was given Anne's diary. The diary was first published in German 1947.

This is the quote from The Diary (12 June 1942 - 1 August 1944) that i like:
1) "Everyone has inside of him a piece of good news. The good news is that you don't know how great you can be! How much you can love! What you can accomplish! And what your potential is!"

2)"I don't believe that the big men, the politicians and the capitalists alone are guilty of the war. Oh, no, the little man is just as keen, otherwise the people of the world would have risen in revolt long ago! There is an urge and rage in people to destroy, to kill, to murder, and until all mankind, without exception, undergoes a great change, wars will be waged, everything that has been built up, cultivated and grown, will be destroyed and disfigured, after which mankind will have to begin all over again."

3)"I don't want to have lived in vain like most people. I want to be useful or bring enjoyment to people, even those I've never met. I want to go on living even after my death! And that's why I'm grateful to God for having given me this gift, which I can use to develop and to express all that's inside me."

4) "I hear the approaching thunder that, one day, will destroy us too, I feel the suffering of millions. And yet, when I look up at the sky, I somehow feel that this cruelty too shall end, that peace and tranquility will return once more."

5) "It's really a wonder that I haven't dropped all my ideals, because they seem so absurd and impossible to carry out. Yet I keep them, because in spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart."

6) "People can tell you to keep your mouth shut, but it doesn't stop you having your own opinions. Even if people are still very young, they shouldn't be prevented from saying what they think."

7)"People will always follow a good example; be the one to set a good example, then it won't be long before the others follow... How lovely to think that no one need wait a moment, we can start now, start slowly changing the world! How lovely that everyone, great and small, can make their contribution toward introducing justice straightaway... And you can always, always give something, even if it is only kindness!"

So there you have it on some of the Anne's Quote that i really admire and impress. I know she is a Jews(Yahudi), but nothing wrong for us to follow her example. Anyway if you want to know more about her, you can google it. For now that is all.

The best affordable restaurant

5) OldTown White Coffee
What I like about this place is that it serves a lot of Malaysian local delight at an affordable price. Their bread are also tasty. I also love their Laksa. And most importantly the services are quite fast, the place are comfortable and very clean. The food price are also okay.

4) Kenny Rogers
This is where i go when i feel like wanting to eat the healthy chicken meal. Not also does the chicken is grill; it also contain less salt, calories, and fats. I always order the 1/4 chicken with 3 side dish. And usually i will choose 3 different vegetables for that. You could find Kenny Rogers at almost everywhere. Also the price is affordable, and the place is okay.

3) Secret Recipe
This food place was first introduce by my sister. We used to went to Jusco Wangsa Maju whenever we crave for Secret Recipe. Most people went there for their cake, although there are a lot of choices for their cakes; but i am more interested in their meals. When i go there i love to order the Dory fish with crab sauce. It is really good at a price of RM18* if i am not mistaken. Also the chicken rice with Mushroom sauce is also really delicious. You could get it at a price of RM13* i think. The place however sometimes is a bit crowded for some of their branch such as at KLCC. Their service is quite good, but however not during the lunch hour. Whatever it is i love to dine at Secret Recipe.

4) Dome
Whenever i went to Dome i will always ask for their wild mushroom soup. It is so superb. I had never eaten a mushroom soup as good as this. The place are very comfortable and the service are fine. Yeah but whatever it is money always come first. The food price are a little tiny-Winny expensive. Most of it is because of the extra taxes that we had to pay for. One more think i also like their spaghetti especially the Carbonara. You can get it for a price of RM24* maybe. I don't remember actually.Haha.

5) Cozy Corner
What more can i say about this place. Basically it is situated at Ampang Park and they serve the Western cuisine and local delight. Everything there is really good. My family and i had been there for many years whenever we had family gathering for special celebration. The steak, Chicken Chop, Smoke Salmon, Dory fish etc is all delicious. As a matter of fact, the dessert are also so tasty. My mom always order the Banana Split Ice-Cream, which is actually not good for her blood sugar. But once in a while; why not. For me, i prefer their Ice-cream goreng and the caramel. The place is also very cozy and the service is nice.

So there you have it, a little info about the restaurant that i always go. Just don't greet me if you meet me at one of the restaurants. Haha. That is so bizarre. I hope now you have an idea to go dining with someone.

Clinical experience

This is actually my assingment that i had submitted to my lecturer on 17th April 2008. The final mark is quite high actually. This is a story about my experience during my first year of becoming a nursing student and practical in Hospital. Just want to share it with you guys.

"As time goes on, I am now realize that I had reached the end of semester 2 and now its time for I to apply what I had learned for 6 weeks to the clinical practice. From now onward, my responsibilities are much greater because I can now apply a lot of nursing care from medication to injection. On 17th March 2008, Monday is the day for my friends and I to begin our practical day at the first IT Hospital in Malaysia, Hospital Selayang.

My emotion and feeling were under control, compared to as I was on semester 1 which had always been blurred and afraid to do everythings. Hospital Selayang are far more advance and organize rather than our previous posting Hospital so it gives us a fresh start and pleasant first impression, but of course the most important things is the quality of the care. Because without it, we can not ever improve the standards of care.

For the first three weeks from 17th March 2008 to 4 April 2008 I, Aziah were supposed to go to ward 9C that is the medical ward. The Sister and staff nurses are very helpful and kind to us. We had learned lot of new things and gain experiences through their guidance".

In the ward:
"Puan M, 64 years old had Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 for 30 years and Hypertension since 12 years ago. According to her medical diagnosis, she had an end-stage renal disease, retinopathy (cataract) and had a big foot ulcer on her left foot due to serious infection and gangrene. So as I had tried to go through her case, I had identified a few of nursing diagnosis. First is imbalance nutrition related to inability to meet metabolic needs, as evidenced by hyperglycemia. Second is risk for infection related to delay healing and stasis of body fluid. Third is fluid volume deficient related to hyperosmolar urinary losses and inadequate intake, as evidenced by increased urinary output, thirst, and sudden weight loss. Lastly is fatigue related to decrease metabolic as evidenced by overwhelming lack of energy. (Taber’s, 2005)

As I kept on monitoring her case, I felt really sorry for her as she had to deal for such difficulty. Sometimes I can see her looking very depressed so I always try to cheer her up by communicate with her and try to develop a relationship between nurse and patient. As were told by the theory of interpersonal relations concepts.

Peplau (1952) theory explain that the interpersonal process that occurs when an ill person and a nurse come together to resolve difficulty felt in relation to health. (Berman et al., 2008)

Because of her complex healthcare problems there are several medical and nursing intervention used to treat her. So each morning, after we had done sponging to her to promote healing process, I had to make sure that her fluid and electrolyte are balances by administering normal saline according to the regime as prescribe by doctor. Then is to monitor her fluid intake and output, for evidence of any dehydration and hypovolemic hypotension. Next is to monitor her serum electrolyte blood urea nitrogen levels. I also had to monitor her blood glucose level daily usually three times per day. My target is to make sure her non fasting glucose level is within 4.4 – 8.0 mmol/L (Lemone and Burke, 2008). Because when she admitted to hospital her glucose level is 16.7 mmol/L. After that I had to administer her medication and insulin injection. My first experience to give oral medication to her had not gone so well. I was very confused because the names of the medicine are so unfamiliar and sometimes they use the trade name not the generic name. She had to take T. Enalapril, T. Calcium Lactate, T. Rocaltrol, and T.Celebrex (Adams et al, 2008). So when I finally ready to give it to her by following the 5’s right, she refuses from taking it. In my mind I started to think why did she trying to make my life more miserable. I try to persuade her to take it but she did not want.

I said “aunty if you do not want to take this medicine, you can not heal quickly and might give complication to your illness”. Then she replied furiously “I do not want to have it, go away, leave me alone”.

At first I was fed up and just want to ignore her.But because I am still under control, I just report it to the staff nurse in charge. The staff nurse suggest to me to wait for awhile and try to persuade the patient what she really want. So it turns out that she want the tablet to be crushed and dilute it in water; then administer it with syringe. And so i just follow her way.

Then usually she had to be given subcutaneous actrapid insulin, 30 minute before her meal time (Perry & Potter, 2006). Because her blood glucose keep on fluctuating from 15.6mmol/L to 10.4mmol/L. Luckily during the insulin administration Puan Manisah had given a full cooperation. The only problem is that, I felt unconfident that make my heart pounding so fast and my hand kept on trembling. Maybe it is because this is my first subcutaneous injection but I manage to do it under the supervision from staff nurse Melah.

For her foot ulcer at first we had to leave it to the specialist in charge. From what I see in the treatment room the specialist remove part of the dead tissue like a debridement procedure on her infected foot. After that the daily dressing must be done to promote wound healing and prevent the foot from infection. She was also were visited by the dietitian and was taught about the proper diet. Lastly before she is discharged I manage to share some of my knowledge about the foot care for diabetics and types of exercises suitable for her feet.

From this experience I had learned a lot of new things, first is always appreciate that clients are just a normal people who had feeling that need to be expressed. I should not have though about bad things to do toward the patient, because she had developed so many complications and pain. Thus, I now try to understand the client and to control my temper. If only I had tried the tender loving care (TLC) concept when giving the medication, for sure she will listen to me. Next is always be confident and calm to do something challenging. I should not have been afraid to do the injection just because it is my first time. What if something goes wrong? I could possibly hurt the client and for sure I do not want to be called nurse from hell. But now as I kept on giving injection to other clients, I am now more experience and brave. As a saying goes “practice makes perfect”.

As for conclusion, I now know how to manage diabetes mellitus type 2 patients. Moreover I had learned how to deal better with certain situation and had helped me to know better when confronting with other problem. Studying the theory is different from performing it, so in my opinion this practice had made me more aware and understandable about diabetes".

So there you have it. The story of my experience when I was in year 1.

Lose weight now, ask me how

Have you guys ever heard about this great product Herbalife. I found out about it from my cousin who is now the Herbalife dealer. He had lose more than 46kg now. I was so shocked how does he able to do that. So then he introduce to me the Herbalife. Actually this product is mainly made from herbal and soy. Also it is Halal and a very world-known. As you can see from the picture, this is not a diet pill that make you go to toilet a few time; and the worse part of it is that; only your water weight is reduced but not your fats, also you might even lose a lot of your vital electrolytes. Moreover it is not a super-special-secret ingredient cream that make your skin feel like burning.

What i am saying is, Herbalife is more like a liquid diet. All you need to do is just replace your meal with Herbalife shake.

This is the shake. Better serve it with cold water. This one drink only contain 90 calories. How to make it? Simply just scoop 2 table spoon of formula 1 of Nutritious Mixed Soy Powder Drink and add 300ml of plain water. Then just shake it and drink it right away. When to take it? In the morning to replace your breakfast and in the evening to replace your dinner. Yeah i know, it is impossible for some. Because you can not eat anythings rather than that. But you can eat normally for your lunch meal. But remember limit oily foods and fat-contain foods.

One more think about herbalife is that you are encourage to drink plenty of water. But remember avoid soft drinks and sugary drinks. Believe me, you don't need it. Plain water is way much better. So everyday you have to mix your plain water with Tea-mixed Lemon and Hibiscus. Make sure to finished drink the water. You are encourage to drink atless 2.5L plain water everyday.

If you don't believe me about the positive effect about herbalife; i will tell you something about my experiences. On the first week of my herbalife experience (at that time i choose the vanilla flavour)i notice my skin especially my face look more radiance and the colesterol at my face also vanished. Then i keep on continue to drink the shakes twice a day and eat healthy foods during lunch for a month. The result is i managed to loss 5kg. Which is quiet an accomplishment. Now if i want to compare from before and after is a way lot of different. My starting weight is 65kg and now i am 58kg. My waist circumference before is 34inch and now is 29inch. However i am still not satisfied with it. Because my target goal is to reach 50kg and 25inch for my waist.

F.Y.I this herbalife comes in many flavour. Which is Vanilla, Dutch Chocolate, Strawberry, Capuccino and tropical fruits.

Improving your English?

Actually to be frank I think my english is still bad. There are still a lot more that I need to improve. Yes it is true everbody start from zero just like me. Since I my was in primary school my parents keep on stressing to me on the importance of english. They even send me for a english tuition which is just next to my house. My neighbour is an Indian; sorry to say I forgot her name but her english is really superb. One thinks that I know is that the best things about learning english is for me to find an Indian teacher because for sure you have to communicate in english with them. But my english still has not improve; I was shy, afraid and used to hate english. So the consequences is, i always got a low mark for my English test. Why is that? It is because i always skips the tuition class and making unreasonable excuses to avoid going to my neighbour's house. To make it even worser i didn't score an A for my UPSR, i only managed to get a B. Which is to me is okay. Hey! what can i say i am just a kids. I still have not seen the bigger picture of the importance of English. It is fine. Don't worry be happy.

Moving on; when I am in high-school. Lets not say which school it is, because it is quite popular. I was a bit uncomfortable because this school is so multi-racial and they speak english fluently. I was very ashamed and even my best friend always look down on me and make fun about the way I try to speak in english. That is so not cool. And even make me a lot more depressed. So i try to find a private english tuition and i managed to get one. So i started to take extra english class since i was in form 2. And you know what the teacher is an Indian teacher. He had helps me a lot through out this difficult years. Actually to be frank before that, when i was in form 1; i did take an extra english tuition class from the malays teacher. Sadly i did not feel suitable with her and my english language is still had not been improved. I am not saying that Malays English teacher are not good. It is me who are not suitable with them. F.Y.I the english tuition fees that i took with the indian teacher is Rm80 for a month. That is so expensive.

So finally i managed to obtain an A for my English language in PMR and SPM. Alhamdullilah. But still; there are one think that Mr Jeya always told me is that "Learning Stops at the Grave". So after finishing my SPM i went to British Council to learn english. Here i learn more on how to communicate well in english. And you know what; the best part is that my english teacher comes from The Great Britian in other words "orang putih tu". Also my classmate is a foreigner just a few malays and chinesse per class. Also they teach us using the modern methods and in a small group. So you have no way to survive without speaking in English. F.Y.I it cost me RM1000 for a month class in learning english at British Council.

So there you have it on my experience in learning english language. So now i would like to share with you on how to improve your english based on my experience.

1) Listen to english music and try to understand what are the meanings and try to pronouns it correctly.
2) Watch english movie and drama series without reading the malay subtitle. Buy a dvd english movie and switch on the english subtitle while watching the movie. Listen to what they say and try to get a quote from the movie that you likes.
3) Reads a lot of english materials such as novel, magazines, newspaper, and others article. Don't forget to finds the meaning of those words.
4) Buy a good english dictionary. The best things is to use the advance learner oxford english dictionary. Why is this dictionary is good? First of all its translate the meaning of the words that you don't understand in english by using others words. Second it have an example of english sentences that you can use in essay. And third you will know how to say it correctly. Actually there is a way on how to use the dictionary correctly. If you know how to use it; you will get a lot of benefits from it.
5) Speak in english. If you are shy to speak in english with your friends, then try to speak in english with yourselves for a start. There is no other way than to speak in english if you want to improve your english.
6) Be confident and do not be ashamed to make mistakes. Peduli ape orang lain nak kata yang penting aku boleh cakap orang putih.

MTV World Stage 2009 (Malaysia)

MTV World Stage memang gempak giler. It was held at Sunway Lagoon Water Park on Saturday 15 August 2009 at 6pm onwards. For those of you who didn't go there, you could watch it via Astro on channel MTV asia later. There are a lot of super cool rock band who perform on that day.

Actually I arrive there pretty late. Paham-paham aje lah traffic jam kat federal highway dah macam tortoise. Whatever it is I managed to arrive there at 6.20pm. The event was host by the MTVasia VJs. First presenter is ofcourse by VJs Utt and Denise and then follows by others.

When I arrive there I was very surprise that the stage was actually build in a pool. How cool is that. I never been in a concert like this. The sound system was also excellent and the service was nice. They even provide us a free rain coat because it was raining a bit, earlier on the show.Though, there are lot of people wearing face mask during that day, and ofcourse that including me. Yeah safety first. Nobody want to be get infected by influenza A H1N1.

'' ''''''' ''''' '' ''' '''' '' ' I I managed to catch the Boys like girls perfomance right after Estranged. Boys Like Girls lead singer is so handsome.Haha. Well they sings their new songs which is Love drunk and then followed by The Thunder which is so perfect, because it was raining when he sung that. And the last songs was The Great Escapes.

''''''''''''''''''' '''' ''''' '' .. '' The All-American Reject is the last act. Right after Hoobastank. I think The All American Reject is such a pro. They are the greatest band in the world. I am sorry MCR. Not only the lead singer are so good looking but their songs all reaches the hits chart topper. Their sings the songs Dirty Little Secrets, SwingSwing, It ends tonight, Give you hells and Winds Blows. I was blown away by their performance.

As for overall i love this concert. Thank you MTV you have done a good jobs. There are only a few comments that i would like to suggest;
1) provide free face mask for all
2) Stops selling unhealthy foods such as pizza and soft drink on the event
3) Avoid having too long period break within each performance
4) Provide extra break time during maghrib prayer
5) lastly is to pantau mereka-mereka yang membaling barang ke arah audience, because ianya sangatlah berbahaya kalau terkene mata especially. Better still, tak payah susah2 nak kasi tangan kertas tu.

Food pyramid

This is the healthy eating pyramid that I prefer to use. It was created by the Harvard School of public health. If you notice this food pyramid is a lot different from others that usually suggest white rice and white bread as our main meals that should be taken in a bigger consumption. But actually it should be taken sparingly.

So first of all, I think it is better if we make whole grain as our main source of energy. Why is that? It is simply because it contains a lot more nutrient and also low in calories.

Secondly, it is much better if we try to eat as much vegetables and fruits as much as possible. Not only we will get a lot of the nutrient from it but it also helps to provide you for better digestion and enhancing your skin. Yeah it's true "Beauty is only skin Deeps" but why not that we choose a healthier choice for our own goods.

Thirdly is to choose olive oil or sunflower oil as our cooking oil. Why is this mediterranean diets is so good? Well simply it is because Olive oil contain less unhealthy fats and less calories. So it is safe to use it regularly in your diet. And you know what if you planning to make a salad meal; pour in some olive and lemon onto the salad and it will taste so much better. The other ways to serve it is by dipping your wholemeal bread with olive oil. Actually I just learn this things when I went to Italiannies Restaurant; and they actually serve you the bread with olive oil instact of others restaurant that serve you bread with butter as your starter. Which eventually makes your calories rising.

Fourthly is to have fish and poultry as your main source of protein. And you know what the better fish that you should use are Salmon and Tuna. Also yes you can eat chicken but make sure you do not eat the chicken skin; and it is much better to eat the chicken on the side of the breast or chest side rather than the drumstick area. Why is that? You already know the answer. It is because it contain more fats.

Number five is you have to have tofu and beans(legumes) as parts of your diet. Not only it have a lots of minerals it is also a source of protein; especially in Soy.

Number six that I wish for you guys to follow is to drink milk daily or to eat yogurt as your snack. But remember please choose an organic dairy product.

Lastly is to use red meat, white rice, potatoes, and sugary meals sparingly. Because I need not to tell you why, simply because it contain a lot of calories a not healthy for you. This is why I don't eat french fries but once in a blue moon i just eat it.

So there you go, briefly on the food pyramid of my choice.
